Not sure what to say?

I was just on the internet looking for June, when I found the article about Billy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. The Raimondi family has a very special place in my heart. I know how much he will be missed, my love to the family

May the memories of your loved one...of happy times, of joyful smiles, of hearty laughter and caring words, help your through this sorrowful time. Love from Christopher Baumgardner, then 11-year old who often visited you at your home before he joined the National Guard and Regular US Army.

I knew Billy from the produce market in Oakland where he would come weekly to visit my boss Chet Lievre, and to get some fresh produce. Billy was always so kind to me. Years later at a PCL hall of fame reunion I saw him and he remembered me without hesitation. What a wonderful life he had. You all are very lucky to have had him. What a great time to have grown up. Men were better than they are today. I will always remember Billy.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Billy was my boy hood hero when I was attending St Bernards in Oakland. The day Oakland traded him to the Sacramento, was a sad day in my life.He was a good man, with a huge heart.John Pulli Lake Shastina,Ca

A great West Oakland star who always brought pride to his fans.

The Jardine family remembers you.

So sorry to hear about your father and know he will be sorely missed. How lucky he was to have had a fascinating and very long life.

Writing for my father, Mel Goulart, who played baseball with Billy and has very fond memories of those great days. Dad still hold's one of Billie's first baseball cards. As Mel's daughter, I grew up hearing the many stories of those times and Billie. Our sincerest condolences.
