Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Rankin and the Rankin family, you are in our prayers now with the passing of Coach Rankin. I will always remember him as my first Coach. One of the many things about his coaching style was he was always the disciplinarian, firm, fair, and enjoyed winning while making it all about the team and not about himself. The Alter community owes much to Coach Rankin for being the first coach, athletic director, creator of the boosters, recruiter and builder of a great coaching staff. Most of...

Carmella I am so sorry for your loss. Bill and gene are in heaven talking football. May the peace of God be with you and your family. Love Linda Brindise and family

I am so sorry I am so late to hear about a dear friend of mine. He did a lot for me and my sincere sympathy coes to Carmela.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rankin family. I will always appreciate the opportunity to have been one of his players. He set the standard high and made it an honor and privilege to be an Alter Knight. Thanks for everything Coach.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My sincerest sympathies to Mrs. Rankin and all her family on their loss. So many wonderful memories playing for coach Rankin. So many good lessons of discipline, hard work, fair play, honesty, teamwork. His work will live on in all those he mentored. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Bob Anzinger CCHS "59
