I think of Bill every Valentine's Day (his birthday) and every Halloween (his date of passing). I also think of him every time I watch an S.U. basketball game, every time I drive past the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, and every time I see a N.Y. license plate here in Rhode Island. Occasionally, there's a Bill Rapp name over that license plate, and if the car is stopped I engage the driver and tell them that Bill was our friend. In fact, Bill was everyone's friend. His gentle manner,...

We talk about Bill often because he had a real mission of this earth, and that was to make everyone with whom he came in contact, feel important and loved. We went to a number of his business clambakes where he would go out of his way to say something positive and inspiring about every single person who worked for him. He had time for everyone, and his office was always open to basketball players, customers, friends, and even those who might have had a complaint. When they left that office,...

I just wanted to say that I remember Mr. Rapp from 1968..thats when my friend, Connie Gagne, stayed with the family while she was attending Powelson Business Institute...as a "nanny"..I thought that was the coolest job to have while receiving an education. Those are my memories and I never forgot those days. My deepest sympathy to the Rapp family..

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of the Rapp family and all of the friends who will truly miss this great man. I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill over the last 18 years at a local restaurant where I work. He truly was a wonderful man and we will miss him greatly. I will always hold Bill's smile in my heart and his laughter in my mind. What a truly sad day for all who were ever touched by this truly special man. We will miss him always and think of him often. May God Bless you all...

I was so saddened of the news of Bill. I worked at the dealership from '84 to '86. It was my first experience in sales. It was a great chapter in my life. Bill was a great influence in my career. My deepest sympathy to the Rapp Family.
