I worked with Mark for several years, assisting with placing the Friday Magazine calendars on cleveland.com. He was extremely kind, with a great sense of humor. My sincerest condolences go out to the Rapp family.

I remember Mark and his brother Sam from the old Cleveland neighborhood. He was a real nice kid.I am so sorry he passed so young. May God be with you all.

I worked with Mark for nearly 30 years, 12 of them as editor of the Friday! magazine. He was the hardest working, most conscientious person I've ever met. He was also one of the kindest, most generous people I've ever met. The world is a sadder place without him, but it's a better place because he was here. I only wish he'd had more time to enjoy his retirement.

I can't be at the memorial or funeral - I will be out of town on a long-scheduled trip. But my heart will be there....

Heaven gained an angel, when Mark passed through, the golden gates. He was a wonderful man, respected and loved by, many. Mark drove, to Beckley, WV, he got in his car and drove, to the service. It was the coldest, snowy winter day, and he warmed, my heart, with his loving smile and open arms, for a heartfelt hug. He had traveled alone,and...

Mark was a dedicated Guild member who faithfully attended meetings as a delegate to the Local 1 Executive Board. His friendship, sense of humor and loyalty will be greatly missed.

I'm sorry to hear about Mark's passing. We graduated from Garfield Heights High School together. He was always so nice. I used to see him on the bus going downtown while he was going to Cleveland State and I was going to St. John College. I was hoping to see him at our 50 year high school reunion next year. My condolences.
