Our dear Uncle Bill, There is not a day that goes by, that I do not think of you. I so miss our daily talks. I go somewhere as usual and when I return home to share that memory as usual, unfortunately you are not there anymore to call and share the day. I can only speak to you in my prayers, my thoughts. But you know this Bill, wherever I am, I know truly you are not far away. I love you and miss you, especially your laugh.

The Reverend Canon was a lifelong friend to me, my brother and parents. We´d meet at the Digby Pines Hotel in Nova Scotia and as kids he not only introduced us to magic, he made life a bit magical. I can still hear his mother say "Billy"... and remember his father sitting in our kitchen. A piece of the moon from one of his astronaut friends is incorporated into the stained glass in his honor at the church. Always kind and gentle, he had a most uncommon mind and never avoided discussing...
