Not sure what to say?

It was my good fortune to have Bill Ravell for a designer on several projects at Texas Instruments. His considerable talent was matched by his professionalism and his enthusiasm for life. Sincere sympathies for his family and friends.

I had the pleasure - and it was always truly a pleasure- of working with Bill as a draftsman early in my career at Texas Instruments, and again later as an engineering coop employee. Bill was a talented and creative designer, a friend of valued counsel, and a person of integrity. I extend my sympathies to Bill’s family and friends.

I really enjoyed my association with Bill, both as a friend and as a professional partner in the design and development of several airborne radar projects at Texas Instruments. I could always count on Bill for a calm and organized approach to even the most difficult of design layout challenges. His work was thorough and he inspired a professional attitude in those around him. I also remember his keen sense of humor: he could often bring a common sense attitude to a situation.

Ken, We were so sorry to hear about your dad. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

Bill was a true friend, patriotic American, served his country, and was kind to everyone. I first met Bill at TI in 1968. After leaving TI in 1973 to go into real estate brokerage business he kept in contact with me. He stated to me one time that I was my former friends at TI's "man in the street". We did several real estate buy & sells and enjoyed eating at Red Lobster. Bill will be missed by all of us.

Ray and I are living in CA now since August. Inez, we have happy memories of you and Bill at TI Retirees' meetings and outings and the trips we took together.Plus hearing about your other travels. We are so sorry to hear of Bill's death. He had been fighting so hard and yet so cheerfully to get rid of this. We are thinking of you.

I feel privileged to have been a part of Pierre's life. In addition to his many other attributes, he was wise, honarable, intelligent, and artistic. He was a person I could always count on for sage advise. He was not only my grandfather, but also my friend. I will miss him terribly.

Although I met him only a few times I will always remember his graciousness and generosity toward me and my wife, Barb. He led a full and giving life that all of us should celebrate.

My thoughts and prayers to Inez and Bill's family.
