Not sure what to say?

My favorite double cousin whose memory and music will live on forever.

William was a double cousin and we were proud of him as a family member. His career successes were always an inspiration to everyone who knew him. My life was enriched when he moved to Maryland where I lived to become a professor at Johns Hopkins. We shared many precious memories during his latter years. I thank God he passed my way.

We both enjoyed working with Bill during his time on the Board of the Annapolis Opera, when Lorraine was working on costumes and Bob was handling tickets and helping with sets during the Lindauer administration (1970s). Bill always had kind words for us and made us feel welcome and appreciated. His work on their annual Vocal Competition was very professional and much appreciated. He was a great help and a great man, and will be missed.

My name is Clay E. Simpson, Jr. William was a double cousin and I and my family were blessed to form an unforgettable relationship when he returned from Europe to accept a professorship at Johns Hopkins University. I will cherish the many good times and inspiring gatherings at our homes. William made us all proud of his many accomplishments here and abroad. But most all his humility and love of family. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

My name is Bobby Telley , Mr. Ray was my voice teacher at Howard University. Mr. Ray was very good and caring teacher. I learned a great deal from him will miss talking to him, and receiving great spirituals from him. RIP.
