NEWPORT – William Reagan, 75, of Newport, RI, passed away at home with his family on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Coleman Reagan. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Hope (Simmons) Reagan.

He was the most loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle anyone could hope to have, and a great friend.
He graduated in 1959 from Rogers High School, where he played on the baseball, football, and basketball teams. He started Reagan Construction Corp. in 1970 and enjoyed working as a marine and heavy construction contractor for the past 45 years.
He loved spending time with family and friends, and he had a great sense of humor. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth.
At his request, there are no calling hours or service.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider doing something nice for someone in honor of Billy's kind and generous nature.

Shirley and Shannon,
Billy was truly a wonderfully kind, gentle and genuine person.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Uncle Bill, There are so many great memories shared over the years-harbor cruises, the Newport Jazz Festival, ice cream runs and really too many to list. The best memories involved family gatherings and meals-the laughter, the stories, the jokes, talking sports and just being together. You always hosted a great time-good food, good drink, good family and friends. The volume of love, kindness, care, and concern for happiness and well being that you showed is special. My family and I are so...

Dear Shirley, Shannon and family of Billy Reagan:
Our sincere condolences to all on the passing of Billy. We were so proud to let people know we were the next door neighbors of Billy Reagan. In our brief two year friendship with Billy, we came to understand why everyone in the Newport community spoke so highly of him: his generosity, kindness, and quick wit. Our chats, many from his car as he would come and go, were always a treat. Special times were sitting in his family room with...
