The last few years have been so hard for you grandpa. The confusion hurt you so much. I know that today you are healthy, strong and with grandma. Selfishly, I'd like you here. I miss your chuckle, even your snoring and loud sneezes, but I know that you are in a far better place. I will treasure my memories of you and the fun we had. We had geat times camping, at holidays and during the many weeks I spent during the summer with you and grandma. I will miss you and always will remember...

It's so hard saying goodbye so soon after Mom's passing. I hope that all of the memories that Alzheimer's had stolen from you have now been given back. I hope that a shiny new Gold Wing was waiting for you and that Mom has already climbed on the back. I hope there is an endless black ribbon of smooth highway before you and that you can spend eternity doing that which you loved most. We will all miss you.
