William Reese

I´m very late writing this, but better late than never. Billy´s yard and mine abutted each other back in the late 30s and early 40S. We grew up together playing basketball in his driveway, pitching a tent in the field next door, playing heated Manopoly games with Evelyn and our pals Howard MacAdams and Bryant Kennedy. Memories I will never forget. Haven´t seen Billy for many years, but he wii always be remembered by me. May God have mercy on his soul.

My thoughts and sympathy to each of you. Bill was a dear friend and we enjoyed exchanging letters since my move to Texas. He wrote so much about his grandson and how proud he was of him. We were classmates and worked on reunions for our high school class. I heard of his death today and I feel so sad. I will keep him and all of you in my prayers. May God give you strength and love.

Ted,Nan and Hope, really sorry to hear your father died. Mr. Reese was always a role model for all; dating back to little league baseball, he set the standard. i saw him a couple of years ago and he looked great, shared fond memories of days on the baseball field, he never missed a beat. May he rest in peace.
