Bill was one of my fire fighter / fire prevention mentors after starting with the Carol Stream Fire District. Anytime I had a question he was always willing to teach and lead me in the right direction. I still use and share his fire code knowledge to this day! Rest in peace my friend.

Paula and family.
My deepest sympathies. Mike and I are so glad we got to know Bill even though it was only for a short time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry we were not able to make it but you're family has been in our thoughts all week..MY heart just aches for all of you...Bill was a real fighter but God knew it was time for him to stop fighting and time to rest... no more pain! The picture of him sitting in his rocking chair and smiling with Tom 2 weeks ago when we were there will be in my mind forever..thats how I will always remember him!! Love to all!!❤

Recently I posted something on Facebook and he saw it and made a comment. He replied to my comment and made sure that I knew he recognized it was me even though my...
