Friends took me to visit Devotion, where we `visited´ with Will in the great room. He showed us around, from the kitchen and water wheel downstairs to the color-coded organ upstairs, with folks peeling off, wandering as we went. He asked if I could play the organ. As I picked out and we sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow (3x!) we looked up at a character-filled classic portrait (his mother?). I have never forgotten. Truly a unique and beautiful homeplace. He is missed.

Will lived on Stratford Road about 1and 1/2 block from my home on Georgia Avenue. I just happened to be out in our driveway when I heard the clipping of horse hooves. I looked up to see Will driving what I think was his grandfather´s old black carriage with a brown horse pulling it. I somehow knew it was Will driving his grandfather´s carriage and simply said, "Will, is that you?" He tipped his tall black hat to me in greeting. That was an absolutely great recreation of his grandfather...

Truly, was most inspiring friend in my life time! Gave me special instructions for living virtuous life. Pressured me to always be the person God intended! Never ceased to push me forward and to be myself! Honest, sincere, enjoyed encouraging me. Taught me how to be a "classy", outstanding virtuous young teenager, and his instructions remained with me, On Earth, fot my lifetime, one of the most hard,-to-accept losses!
