Not sure what to say?

I was his personal cook when he would visit the troops during field exercises when he was southern Commander in Panama .Sfc. Leroy Tyson sr. Ph #803-3602547.!!

He was my combat brigade commander in Vietnam who I never forgot. He gave me an opportunity to take and grow with new responsibilities that had far-reaching benefits later in my career. A great general and man.

A great General and a fine man.

Finest commander and general officer I had the honor of serving.

Mary, Bill, David, and Jack, you are blessed to have lived with and loved a truly good man who made a big difference in our military, in keeping all of us safe with his innovations in leadership training. I send love on your loss. Kathy Richardson

We are sad for your loss. May Bill rest in peace. What a life of accomplishments and impact. Fondly, Lisa Richardson Henske Victor, MT

Such a gentleman. Thankful to God for his life is service (especially in the Pacific). Condolences to his sweet wife Mrs. Mary and family.

He was a great General and even greater mentor and friend. We will miss him.
