Not sure what to say?

Richmond Family,

The Hartness family sends its prayerful thoughts to you and your family. Our memories are all from Jim Hartness's fishing pond as we were growing up. You, Kitty, and your boys spent many a days catching fish in Pop's and Eva's fishing hole. I hope all of the boy's are doing well and send our thoughts and prayers during your difficult time. Just a few memories from Starkville, MS.

Hartness Family

I last saw Buddy when the USS Salem reunion was in Pensacola. We got together to play golf. It was the only time I would see him since leaving the USS Salem In 1956. We had lots of good times in the navy.

Buddy was such a kind and friendly person; always sharing a smile and a laugh. His contributions to our little town are many, and can be seen in the buildings he designed, and in the lives of his family. We are proud to have known him. We hope you all will find a measure of peace. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.

our deepest sympathies to the Family,I served aboard the USS Salem with Buddy

So sorry for your loss. Buddy was always a nice guy to us when we were growing up. I hope Labon got some of his patience & understanding & zest for life. I still remember the parachute above the bed. I thought that was so cool. God Bless.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.
