I last saw Buddy when the USS Salem reunion was in Pensacola. We got together to play golf. It was the only time I would see him since leaving the USS Salem In 1956. We had lots of good times in the navy.

Buddy was such a kind and friendly person; always sharing a smile and a laugh. His contributions to our little town are many, and can be seen in the buildings he designed, and in the lives of his family. We are proud to have known him. So sorry for your loss. Buddy was always a nice guy to us when we were growing up. I hope Labon got some of his patience & understanding & zest for life. I still remember the parachute above the bed. I thought that was so cool. God Bless.
