Not sure what to say?

I wanted to offer my condolescenes to the family of Mr. Riggs. I only had the pleasure of taking care of him for a short time but he was kind and pleasant. I was touched by the love and the advocacy of the family until GOD called him home. He is now in the arms of GOD in HIS Kingdom and we will all meet again one day.

I worked with Buddy at the Shipyard in Data Processing Department for a number of years. He was a fine gentleman, very knowledgeable, highly respected, and much revered by his co-workers. I knew Betty too, and they were a wonderful couple, who led many to Christ, at the same time showing how a couple can succeed in business while rearing a family. I know you will miss him, as you miss your Mother. I pray for God's Holy Spirit to fill and surround you with comfort and peace.

Lynn, Sharon, and Bryan,
I was so saddened to learn of your father's passing. I know I speak for all my family, Bobby, Cal, Diane, and myself, to relay that we all have wonderful memories of you and your family. Your father and mother led such wonderful and inspiring lives, and touched so many hearts. Time does have a way of healing us and with God's hand we will each come to terms in our own way. God bless all of you, and may your friends and family and wonderful memories of his...

Our prayers for your comfort will continue past this trying time for you.
Buddy was the most important figure in
the lives of so many who came to enjoy
the fellowship at Citadel Square Baptist. His example of caring for all
and giving of his effort and time to see that many found Christ will be rewarded. Thank you Buddy Riggs. You
truly are a pillar in the history of Citadel Square Baptist Church.

Love to the Riggs Family,
Herbert M. Blitch, Jr. ...

Buddy and Betty Jean's Family, Herb Goldberg emailed me the notice of Buddy's death and I will pass along to our Class of 43 group who were in high school with Betty. We now have 229 in this Class who are known deceased. When Buddy attended our functions with Betty he always appeared to enjoy those occasions. They both loved Charleston, SC. In life we are never ready to lose our loved ones and only our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends sustains...

There are no words to soothe the pain or fill the gap left by a man so much larger than life. His unending generosity, open heart and kind spirit made all of us feel safe whenever we were fortunate enough to be in the presence of God's gentle bear.

I expect God greeted him saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant....Now, give me a hand with Betty and David!"

Uncle Buddy will have a very special place in my heart forever, right next to my Dad.

Lynn, Sharon & Bryan, I am so sorry to read of Mr. Riggs death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I certainly know and feel your pain as we lost our mother in December. If there is anything we can do for the family, please let us know. May his memory be eternal. A long life to all of you Love Happy, Dianne & Pete Lempesis

Delores I'm not sure you will remember me. I think we both lived close to Hampton Park many years ago when we were friends. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

Bryan and family, I was so sorry to hear
about Mr. Buddy. My parents and Buddy & Betty go way back. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love,Bill & Debbie Fennell
