William Riley, Jr., 74, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A memorial service will be held August 17, 2017 at United Christian Fellowship Church 1613 Welch Ave. Port Neches, TX.
A viewing August 18, 2017 at Proctor Mortuary 3520 Washington Blvd. Beaumont, TX; from 9:00am until 10:45am, with burial service following at Live Oak Cemetery, Beaumont, TX.
Born and raised in Beaufort, SC, the son of William Sr. and Sarah Riley, the eldest of ten children.
He retired from Laborers International after 23 years, started his own business, Workman’s International, in the community. Along with his wife, he served as co-pastor for 22 years at the Lily Field’s Holy Praise Revival Center—now Lily Field’s The Prophetic Pentagon, Inc. in Beaumont TX, leaving behind a host of spiritual sons and daughters.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Lydia Riley (mother-in-law Ms. Rhoda Thompson); his sons, William Riley, Jr. and his wife, James Riley and his wife, Johnnie Delafosse Jr, Carl Boyd; his daughters, Jessica Delafosse, Rhoda Boyd; many grand and great-grandchildren. He also leaves four surviving siblings: Sammie, Alice, Queen Esther, Wilhelmena, a loving sister-in-law, Sheila, and a host of relatives.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Riley and I spent many hours/days together at golden triangle clinic. He brought much joy and laughter. He will be missed. May God bless the family in these times of needs.
