Todays mail brought the shock of my life. Bill and I go back to 1948, and has always been a positive force in my life. Even though we weren't able to be together, he was always in my life. Bill was a strong, stable, dynamic, mature man and was respected by all. We met again in Korea and I was happy and proud of him for the Bronze Star. He is a hero - but he has always been my hero! He, you, and the family will remain in my prayers, and I will always cherish my memories...

My Father and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Ring and the entire family, Bill was truly a great individual. I was lucky enough to have had the oppurtunity over the years to get to know Bill and to spend some sunny afternoons out on the golf course with him, Great Times!
