Not sure what to say?

Please accept my condolences to the family in this untimely loss. I enjoyed Bill on and off the mat, and know he will be sorely missed.

Mrs Rippe, my condolences to you and your family. I was one of the nurses who took care of Mr Rippe at the Boyd Center. I always wonder how he was. I have no contact since I left. He was a lovely man. It was a pleasure taking care of him.

Just found out via the Cayugan that Bill had passed away this past summer. So sad, I had to respond as we took a trip together while at Cornell to scout the route for our run for the Olympics back in 1980. Wow, we had a fun 3 days up in Northern New York! Such a smart and funny guy with a great sense of humor, sure wish I could turn the clock back to those days again. Rest in peace my brother, may God be with you.

I have some really great memories with Billy. Easy going way to laugh. I give thanks that I had the good fortune of sharing good times with you.

I just learned the very sad news. My deepest condolences to Bill's family. I have very fond memories of attending his 50th birthday party, where I was able to catch up with him after our fraternity days at Cornell. Bill was a fun, decent, generous and well-rounded guy who succeeded at anything he put his mind to. You will be missed. Best Lachlan

I knew Bill from High School. Always fun and easy going. A great team mate.
Sincere condolences.

My sincere condolences to the Rippe family! RIP Bill...

I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. His wonderful smile and friendliness will be a prominent memory to myself and to our other classmates.
