Not sure what to say?

God Bless His Soul!

Very sorry to hear about your dad. I didn't know him but I know he cared about Penn State.

We lived next door for 20 yrs. What wonderful neighbors.

May God bless him, from an old Penn Stater.

Fred and I were blessed to have known this wonderful man. He will be remembered and missed very much. God Bless his soul.

I totally agree with Lloyd who said the world is a better place because Bill Rita was part of it. I kmow he will be missed by his wife, family and those who he touched. I hope they all find comfort in all the great memories of him. May he RIP and enjoy the conversations I am sure he is having with JoPa as we speak.

Bill was a giant to me, immortal. He is among a handful of people in my life who have truly helped me to realize my personal and professional potential. The world is better off for Bill having lived through it, as are we who were witnesses to that. My deepest condolences to the Rita family, especially Shirley and John.

To me he was always "Mr. Rita" as I rose from an accounting trainee to a manger at GSA. It was a great time to be working at GSA and in the Office of Finance; the staff worked hard and also enjoyed so many fun times together. I was always impressed with his skill with words.

Bill was a friend when I really needed a friend. He supported me at a low point in my life. We remained friends since 1970.
