Mrs Robertson, Webb and Mae, Melissa and Jennifer and Bobby and family:
I just learned of Dr. Robertson's passing, having just returned from Charlotte. I'm very sorry I could not come to the memorial service. If it was at all possible I would have been there.

I went to Dr. Robertson for many years. In the Spring of 1974 he told me that I was pregnant with my fourth child. At the time I had three girls including twins who were barely one! Needless to say, the pregnancy was not planned and was a huge shock. I went all to pieces when I heard the news. Dr. Robertson told me that since I was 26 and already had three children I could probably get a legal abortion. Well, that sobered me up very quickly! I apologized to him and told him that I would never...

I'll always remember learning the words to all the musicals at Melissa's house, and how Papa Billy quietly and tolerantly watched over all the happy chaos. What fun it was! I know you all will miss him.

Will always remember Dr. Robertson as a caring physician. He was always so caring. I also remember him as a true friend to Dr. Tom Patton. Am sure they are now enjoying talking about the many things they shared, their travels, their love of literature, and have that discussion of "guys and dolls" that they have needed to have since Dr. Patton passed away.
What a pleasure it was to know the both of them....
