How do I begin to express my deepest sympathy to all who loved my "Uncle Bill"? He was a best friend to my dad (who passed away 15 years ago). As kids, we used to go to the Roccia's on Friday nights for homemade pizza or they'd come to our house. Uncle Bill was the most amazing, fun, joyful person who always had an encouraging word. He made you feel like you were the only person in the room when you talked to him. He was such a light with a fierce faith and a devotion to both God and family...

I got to know Bill initially when I was looking for a carpenter to do some work in our kitchen. He came highly recommeded by several fellow Little Flower Parishioners. During that time and in the years to follow we became friends. Bill is one of those guys who exudes virtue. One of those men you look up to, because of how they live their lives. One of those men who form your idea of what a well-lived life could look like. Bill was a talented carpenter, but moreso a wonderful human being. ...

My condolences to the Roccia family. I worked with Bill, for a short period of time in 1992-1993, trying to capture a serial bank robbery suspect. He was a diligent agent, and a pleasure to work with. In our conversations, I learned that we were both parishioners of Little Flower Catholic Church. It was a pleasure knowing you, Bill. RIH, Sir!

Sandy, I am so so sorry for your loss. I now live in Charlotte NC so I cannot attend the services but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you with peace in this your time of need.
