Our family was deeply saddened by the sudden passing of someone we knew only as "Bill".On Saturday 5 PM Mass, it was always comforting to see Bill standing in the last pew; and I looked forward to shaking his hand and getting a big bearhug,too. Knowing that my wife was a cancer survivor, Bill always managed to ask, "How's the wife doing", and when Bill gave me the thumbs up sign; we knew she was doing fine.What more can I say, but Bill will be sorely missed, and I know he will be ushering...

Bill was a truly gentle giant of a man. Always smiling and having a good word for you. He will be missed by a lot of friends here at St. Joseph's. God Bless you Bill!
