Read MoreIt's been over 40 years since I last saw Bill (though I knew him as Billy). He was the IBM System Engineer assigned to our account in Birmingham before his transfer to Dallas. I remember him as being smart and easy to work with. This was the early stages of my career in the tech world and what I learned from him served me well for the next 20 plus years of my career. Sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to his love ones.

Bill was my roommate at Auburn University. We were very compatible and I was fortunate in that respect. I always had great respect for his intellect. We only had sporadic contact over the last 50 years but I was saddened to hear of his passing.
