I didn't get a chance to greet you at the reception, but I wanted to tell you how much respect I have for you and the way you faced this illness. You and your family have shown unbounding strength of character and faith.
Bill was a wonderful person, and a great friend to many.

Dear, dear Nancy, Kathryn, and all your family, I remember Billy's heart and smile from so many years ago. I remember the joy at finding out that two of the sweetest people I know, Nancy and Billy, had married and then had a beautiful family, and I remember the sadness I felt seeing Kathryn in the grocery a few Thanksgivings back & her sharing with me about Billy's illness.

I know your hearts are sad but your faith is strong. Godspeed to Bill, and peace to you and yours through...

Although it has been many years since Elizabeth and Kristen were at Bowie together, I still remember what wonderful family times you enjoyed and shared with everyone around you. I know God has wrapped your family in His arms as He takes care of Bill for you.

Billy was a friend of mine throughout my school years. I will miss his kind and friendly smile. His passionate love for his family showed in the gleam of his eyes when he spoke of them. I pray God gives you peace in his passing, and sweet memories to sustain you.
