WILLIAM PHELPS RUGG

May God bless you, Bill, and you too Bobby. We met many years ago, when you both lived in this beautiful house near Santa Fe. We very often talked about classical music, and especially about JS Bach. You were a very nice person, and so a talented organist !
I will always remember the Rugg family.

My deepest sympathy to everyone.
One memory I have, I think its Christmas (but
might be the day after), and I see the fire truck
going up Orchard Street. Later on in the day, Peter,
carrying his new little tool box, and I walked over
to the house. We knocked on the door, and Mr Rugg
told us only he was there. He then knelt down next
to Peter and started to check out the tool box and
ask him questions about it. Even after all these years
my reaction is the same,...

My sympathies to the family on the passing of their father. I remember "Mr. Rugg" from Second Congregational Church. (I always thought he was so tall!)My prayers are with all of you at this time.
