Mr. Rumold's father and my Great-Grandmother Belton were brother and sister. Recently I was able to contact Mr. Rumold in regard to questions of genealogy. I wish I could have met him in that everyone with whom I have come in contact speakes so highly of him. We extend our sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing William but in my interest in Genealogy, to me he wasn't a stranger. William's grandfather was a brother to my great-grandfather. There is one fact that stands out in my research, his father and grandfather's generation had a strong work ethic. Farmer, Edicuator, Tradesman, Researcher, or defender of our liberty, as was William, it wasn't enough to be good, they had to be the very best that they could be. William was of that mold. I read with sadness the passing of Bill Rumold. I was his barber for the past 15 years and he was wonderful gentleman at all times. I extend my sympathy to his family.

I was genuinely saddened to learn of the passing of Lt. Colonel Rumold. My brother, Frank, and I served with then Major Rumold in Korea with the Korean Military Advisory Group (KMAG) from 1957 to 1958. He was a true gentleman and one of the kindest, most considerate individuals we met during our military service. About twenty years ago we saw Lt.
