Hillcrest Funeral Home Burial Park & Cremations - San Antonio Obituary

Eileen Jean Guajardo born on April 26, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord at the age of 70. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Sr., and Lucille Harlow; brothers, Richard Harlow Jr., and Clyde William Harlow Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Aguirre and husband, Roland; granddaughters, Desiree Shaw and husband Jase, Kayla Tober, Lauren Tober, and Alyssa Aguirre; sister, Irene Aguayo; brother, Glenn Harlow Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Eileen attended Christ the King School from kindergarten until the 8th grade and and graduated from Little Flower Catholic School in 1969. Her passion in life was caring for children—whether it be her only daughter, her three granddaughters, or her nieces and nephews. Her nurturing spirit was infectious, and you couldn’t help but love her. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing in Rockport with her siblings and painting the woodwork that her brother, Richard, would cut out for her. These items included ornaments, pins, signs, and home décor.

She was active and present for almost every event in her three granddaughters’ lives from day one. She wouldn’t miss a game, performance, or school event. Her presence in our lives will be incredibly missed and will never be forgotten.

Eileen will now be able to embark on the most wonderful fishing trip she has ever been on as she reunites with her fishing buddies and family, while enjoying countless pink conchas and fried chicken.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel.

Family and friends will meet on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. We will continue to honor her with a celebration of life immediately after at the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association Banquet Hall located at 8925 Frontage Rd., San Antonio, TX 78230.
