Not sure what to say?

I just happened to come across this today, a year after Tom's passing. I worked with Tom for several years in Houston in the early 80's with a small startup called TesData. I moved to Houston to support Tom when we was Account Manager and later as a Regional Sales Manager. We had lots of success, but better than that, we had lots of fun. I still remember a deep sea fishing trip we took to Greenbay, Ws. We were definately not top notch fisherman, but we had a great time. He taught me a lot...

Tom was the first person I ran around White Rock Lake, which led to 100s of loops around the lake. I met Tom at Sun and from there grew strog friendship. He was fun at work, on the golf course and running a loop around the lake. Our kids greatly enjoyed Uncle Tommy too.

I just heard about one of the greatest Sales Reps passing on.

Tom was the best in the business
and a true friend and collegue
that brought a smile when ever he was present. I will miss him, and
enjoyed working under his wing learning the business.

Tom was a guy I truly respected. When working together during good times, he was a shining star. In tough circumstances, he always found away to turn things back to the positive. He had some great stories to share along the way too!

I will miss his grin, ...until we meet again.

I
worked with Tom for 12 years at Sun. He always made me laugh when he
was not brining me a problem to solve.I think my favorite times were
when he took us girls out to lunch at Stonebriar Country Club once a
year to thank us for supporting him. He always put me in charge of the
wine selections. He was always the life of the party. Tom was a truely great guy and I will miss him dearly.
Sydney, my deepest sympathy and prayers are with you.

I've known Tom for my 10 years at Sun. He was one of the first to welcome me. I've always looked up to Tom as a great example of how to live life. Sydney, my prayers are with you and your family.

Tom was always positive and saw the goodness in life and those around him. You couldn't be around him and be down. His positive energy was remarkable.

I first met Tom in 1982 when we were both in the mainframe marketplace selling complementary products. He was then, and continued to be, a positive partner with great relationship skills and a joy to work with.

He was one of the bright spots in joining Sun and we miss him greatly here. I had been praying for him daily since learning of the return of his cancer and now he can pray for me to join him some day!

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to know and work with Tom. He was an inspiration to me and his insight helped me through many tough situations. He is a charter member of my All Star Sales Team due to this dedication, his ethics, his trustworthiness, and his love of both Sun and TI. One of my memories will be a round of golf with him and Dick Bowman at his club, StoneBriar. What a day we had. My deepest sympathy to his family and may Gods love help you this day and for all the days...
