Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Did not sign the guest book when my colleagues were doing so cos i could not find the strength.
I was one of his Nigerian students at GE Tensor's Resistivity course; Austin-Texas, (March 2004).
I was with him on the median Resistivity job off the shores of Nigeria. We were so excited with the success of the Resistivity Tool. His optimism was infectious. Friendly, cheerful, sociable, an achiever, a lover of people,an embodiment of knowledge; i could go on and on! He is such a...

Olga,

I am so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My heart truly aches for you and your daughter. Your family has been through so much pain and suffering lately, and I wish that I could help take some of that pain away. I know that you are such a strong woman, but please lean on your friends and family to lift you up. I am here for you if you ever need anything, and I truly would love to be a support for you. You've been a special person in my life as I've faced the loss of...

Bill was fun to work with and great to play with. what i remember most is his availability when i needed help. if he wasn't available, he always called or wrote back to render help. The help he dispensed so freely now is a scarce commodity.

Indeed, the silence of his absence is deafening.

rest in peace

To Bill's family members,
Words cannot discribe the shock and feelings that heralded his death. God knows why it happened the way it happened. We are all mourning his death and we are praying God to give you the heart to bear the loss.

I knew Bill Ryer for the first time last year when he came to Nigeria to present Centerfire Resistivity.
I interacted with him closely as one of his Nigerian students when we came for a course on Resistivity in Austin, (March 2004).
I was with him on his last job. We were very happy with the success of that job. He is a man of integrity, vision and clear mission. He is very friendly, cheerful, sociable and relates freely with anybody. He is such a nice person.
He talked a...

I knew Bill for the first time few months ago when he came to Nigeria to train us in our office. He proved himself to be a non-racist and a true friend. He believed in team work and he was a target achiever. He never believed in failure or giving up on a mission. This he showed on his last trip to Nigeria. Despite all odds, the job was a huge success. My solace is that he died an achiever and a lover of people.

May his soul rest in the bosom of Abraham. Amen.

My sympathies to the family of Bill Ryer. He was a jolly good fellow. Always jovial and optimistic. He poured his heart out to the project (GE/Tensor PWR), of which I was one of the first students. I take solace in the fact that he was able to see the project successfully through. May God have mercy on his gentle soul. Amen.

My heart goes to you, Olga & Jane.
Bill's death was a big shocker and so sudden.
He left us with no goodbye words as we worked together on his dream project in his last days.
He kept talking about bringing African Dolls to Jane and never stopped telling us about his wonderful Olga.
i'm as shocked as you are.

I was one of his Nigerian students in Austin and respect him so much for his integrity and strength.

We love and misssssss Bill...
