I still have the post cards you sent me from Innsbruck of The Eagles Nest.. You'd be so proud of how much I've grown up since you last spoke to me...my son is a hell of a great young man now. You'd love him..thank you for your patience and for teaching me so much about a generation of men that is lost now.. Thank you for everything you've taught me..I'll see you again old friend...post script,,,You'd have been pissed at Matt at your memorial service at UNO..he embarrassed Kate a little I...

He was the Kindest person I ever met. He was like a farther to me.. 20 years of friendship sure went fast huh Bill..
He had a tarrific sense of humor.lol... not many scholars at UNO know This,but he loved the Dave Chappelle show.lol

I shall always remember Bill as a colleague with warm and friendly personality who made friends and faculty feel greatly honored to have known him, who has contributed immensely toward UNO's grand tradition.
May the Lord bless his soul.
