We hope you were enjoying great grand opera in Europe with your darling Helen. We will miss your smiles, humor, and acid wit. If someone wanted to see what a gentleman looked like, they needed only to turn to you. You seemed to be a man who made people comfortable in your company, and you married a lovely woman who complemented that trait. We love you Helen, and hope that your memories are filled with joy.

Gene was a nice person and cared about all of us. It was a pleasure to know him for as long as I did, beginning when Randy and I pledged the fraternity in Norman together in 1982. Condolonces to his family, especially Helen and Randy.
