Not sure what to say?

I only found out about this today. I worked with your Brother Bob for nearly a decade. He told me about your bake shop which I later learned was famous. FO 10 years I played some hockey ina mens league over in Eastie and stoped in at leat 50 times to pcik up the world best donuts. You were always a terrific conversationalist. The baked goods and mostly you as a person will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of this loss. My condolences to his family He was a hard worker and such a nice guy. RIP.

Just found out this news today and was teary eyed and my heart is broken...I drive by Betty Ann's often and had wondered when he would open up again since it had been closed since the fall. I had first stepped into his shop on a whim just last fall and during one visit managed to strike up a lengthy conversation with him. He was so charming and warm towards me. Beautiful, big blue eyes, too. I could see the struggle he had with his illness as he looked very uncomfortable standing up for too...

So sorry to read about Billy. Betty Ann's Bakery was such a huge part of Eastie. I can remember picking up the best donuts around with my dad...even when I would go back home from FL...donuts were a must...thank you Billy for the memories.

All of us at the Tai Chi School admired Bill's ability to master complex moves from Tai Chi and Pa Kua quickly. More important, his enjoyment in whatever his was doing was infectious, and he was generous in sharing what he learned with others. He counted among his friends students from the all the classes he took, and he was as favorite when it came to teaching children's classes.

Over the decades that I knew him Bill became a cherished friend, and he will be missed.

Bill was also very involved in Chinese martial arts at the Chinese Wushu Research Institute (now Bow Sim Mark Tai Chi Arts Association). He was my first coach and became a longtime friend. When he there, there were always cookies and donuts. He will be missed sorely. My condolences to Bill's family, friends, and classmates.

Billy will be sorely missed. Even though I did not know him personally, he always greeted me with a friendly face. His talents were many - especially his culinary skills.
