Not sure what to say?

Hi grandpa. I didn't know you very long, i was just a toddler. I only know one thing about you... you had a lot of people that loved you. I just wish i could have been lucky enough to know you just a little more than i did. I love you no matter how much I remember of you.

Dad,
I miss you everyday. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I have your red and black checkered wool jacket hanging on my dining room chair because it reminds me of you (as if I don't already have many others). I have read all these other entries only to make me cry as I have been reaffirmed of the fact that you were a great man, loved and remembered by many.
I love You,
Tom

Our Deepest of Sympathy to you Lois in the loss of your husband and best friend. God Bless you and keep you in His care in all of your days ahead.

Hello Scharlau family,
Bill it has been a week since your funeral service, you would have been proud, I do believe. We enjoyed the video slide show the funeral home provided from the pictures the family shared with everyone. I know your days of suffering have ended, as in heaven you will not feel all that back pain and the other pains you were having to endure, this is the one reflection to be thankful for, with your passing. You were always kind to us, not to mention that you helped...

Michael ,
A voice from the past--sending condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father...

Our hearts are with all the Scharlau Family. Although, it is a blessing to know Bill is no longer suffering it does not make the heartache of losing him any less. God Bless you, Erin & Adam Anderson

Dear Scharlow Family,

Am very sorry to learn of your loss. In 1978, I transferred from Milwaukee County General Hospital to the Jail to work in the Medical Section there. To say I was frightened and unsure of working in a correctional setting is a definite understatement. Deputy Scharlow made me feel comfortable, safe & better about the decision I had made to become a Jail nurse. All of his family are in my prayers.

I want to give my deepest sympathy for the scharlau's. Bill was a great family man and he will be missed.

Grampa,

I can't begin to express how terribly I'm going to miss you...you were the only Grampa I've ever known and you were always there for me whenever I needed anything. I am so happy to believe that you are in a place where you're no longer sick, a place where there are winning slot machines, where you can fish while watching the sun set anytime you want. I will always think of you, every day, but you'll be especially remembered when I get the guts to do another shot of "Wild...
