Not sure what to say?

Karen, I jus now found this guest book. I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great neighbor. I remember him holding my arm going to mailbox when there was ice on ground. I also like his love of animals. Thinking of you and kids a lot.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Schlotterback's death. He was a good boss and a friend when I worked as his office nurse in Belleville. He was a very good Dr. and his family practice patients loved him.

Karen & family:
My condolences to you and your family. Dr. Schlotterback delivered both of my sons (Jeremy & Nathan Page) and he had me laughing in the delivery room, which was quite a feat as it was before the days of routine epiderals. He was a fine man.

Bill truly leaves us all with a lot of memories to cherish. I was 1 of his "kid sitters" when he lived in Mankato, he was our family Dr. and friend. I didn't realize he lived in Carbondale until I almost ran over him 1 day while he was out looking for mushrooms. We had a good laugh over that. I also would visit w/him while he worked at Washburn University. He always had a "dance to his step".

So sorry to hear about Drs death.I believe that my son Jim was his 2nd baby delivery .I have lots of good memories of him.

Karen, I am so sorry about Doc. He was a good doctor to our family and my mom enjoyed working with him (Ila Nelson). I also remember your family, and I wish you well.

Dear Karen & Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Doc was a special guy and I was lucky to have spent many hours with him playing golf. There was never a dull moment with Doc around. Peace be with you and your family.

Doc was everything you could ask for in a golfing buddy! Keep hitting them straight and landing them softly my fried! Gary Forbach

So sorry to hear about the loss of Bill. What a great guy he was. I can still picture him with his hands behind his back walking to get the mail. Bill, Karen, and the kids were our neighbors in Carbondale when I was young.
