Nancy and the extended Schmid-Schroeder Family: We were saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Bill. The Poliakon family extends our deepest sympathies and belated condolences to your family in this time of your profound sorrow. We offer up our fervent prayers for Bill, and trust that the Lord sent an escort of his Angels to accompany dear Bill to his eternal rest. With the love of Christ --- Joseph and Dolores Poliakon

With sympathy and with many good memories. The photo seems to capture his spirit and pleasant smile so well. Bill always tried to be - and make - a positive difference across Lake County. We are all blessed in his life, his work and the family he and Nancy nurtured as an ongoing legacy.

My deepest regrets on the loss of such a great man. Your family was wonderful to me while I worked for you at Lakeland Publications. I have held your words of wisdom close to my heart, Mr Schroeder. Thank you for all you gave. My heart goes out to your family.

Dear Bill and Lisa,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss.
It's been such a long time and just the other night, we were talking about playing monopoly with your Dad (he was so good) and going out on the sailboat.
Like I said, a long time ago.
Our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

Dear Schroeder Family,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Bill Sr. He was a wonderful family man as well as a dedicated community leader and businessman. I'll always remember the career opportunity that he extended to me at Lakeland Newspapers. My prayers are with you during this very difficult holiday season. God bless.

Schroeder family, I was so sorry to hear about Bill; we have had such a long standing relationship with you; he truly was a great man and will be sorely missed. All of our Love, David and Jerry Weinstein

Dear Mrs. Schroeder and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Schroeder. I loved working for the newspaper and I am grateful for all of the opportunities I was given while working there. The 10 years I worked for you were some of the happiest of my life. Mr. Schroeder was a good man. I always smile whenever I think of all of you. God bless you and I'll keep you in my prayers.

My condolences to the Schroeder family. I very much enjoyed working with Mr. Schroeder and the rest of the family at Lakeland Papers.
