Bill was a true inspration to me, a man who defined "larger than life." His love of horses was infectious and I now enjoy that same affliction. Many of my favorite memories involve visiting with you and Bill at your farm. Bill (he was always Mr. Schuler to me) may be gone but my wonderful memories never will be.

Pride, I worked at Schuler Steel, North Birmingham 1976-1980. Working for Mr. Schuler is among my favorite memories. Mr. Schuler was the kindest, sweetest, and most admired boss I have had. I had a tremendous respect for Mr. Schuler and all his accomplishments.
