Yep miss him on every ride

Sadly, I only learned of Bill's passing only recently, many months later. Bill and I were good high school friends sharing and in participating in a number of activities including music, sports, and a keen interest in watching drag racing. Many fond memories................

Helped me to enjoy his love for Cycling. Road hundreds of fun miles with him. Also hiking adventures at Grandfather Mtn. Sang beside him 30 + years as he kept me in tune. Will miss him greatly. RIP Bill Thanks for the adventures.

First person I met upon arriving in USA during summer of 1981 was Bill and his welcoming smile and brotherly/fatherly assurance to a 23 years old young man left lasting impressions on me. Our relationship grew deep and I enjoyed several evenings at his home after our Volleyball games together. Dr. Scott played a key role in shaping the lives of many foreign graduate students like me. I have enormous respect for dedicated teachers like Dr. Scott even though it´s 40 years since I left Miami.
