Bill was among the greats. We were close friends through the years. He meant so much to so many of us. During the service I thought he was looking down on us, well pleased with the attention he was getting, with a big smile on his face. You will be in my prayers as you try to adjust to a new way of life without him.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember you from years ago when the Mary Fugate Chapter of Averett's Alumni Association was in full swing, and you worked so tirelessly on the Board. Please know that I am sending a hug your way, and know that I will keep you close in my heart, especially at this sad time.
