Dear Jackie and family, I´m so sorry for your loss. My husband, Bill, has also left this earth. My prayers are with you and your family. May God give you strength and peace at this time. Much Love, Libby Lancaster Peet

June, I am so sorry to learn of Bill's death. My love and sympathy to you and your family.

Mr. Settles was one of the best memories of going to school on the East side of Aurora. Condolences to his family

Mr. Settles was the best teacher I ever had. He was my seventh, eighth, and ninth grade social studies and language arts teacher. Thank you, Mr. Settles! So glad I got to talk to him and tell him that a few years back. Our prayers of comfort are with all of you.

I wish to express my love, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to June and family on the death of Mr. William Settles. I had the honor and pleasure of being one of this great scholar´s students. I will always remember the effect he made on my future career and persona. Gone from our sight, but not from our hearts. God bless! Aaron B. Stills, Ph.D.

Many great memories from Waldo Junior High in the early 60's ~ he was a fantastic teacher and set high standards for his students. Also a great neighbor to my late brother. Rest in peace. Condolences to the family.

My sympathy to Bill´s family. He was one of my favorite classmates at East High.

I would like to offer my sympathy to all of Mr. Settles family. There are always a few teachers that we hold dear to our heart and Mr. Settles was one of those special teachers to me. He still was the same fun person that I remembered from back in the 1960's. Thank you Mr. Settles for being one of...
