Not sure what to say?

Earlier today I was thinking of my first hockey coach, and it was Dr. Sheffield. I am sad to learn that he passed away 10 years ago, I did not keep in touch with him all these years, but he had an incredible influence on my life when he was my hockey coach in 1977 when I was just seven years old. I randomly thought to do a Google search on him today and was saddened by the news that he had passed away 10 years ago, he was a great man who touched so many lives.

I just learned of Dr. Sheffield's passing today and am extremely touched by this. What a kind and extremely enjoyable man he was -- the love he had for his family was evident to all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. Take good care.

Jamie, Sorry we were unable to attend the service. Our condolences to you and your family, the Choler's

To dearest Glenn and the Sheffield clan our heart felt sympathy in a year when two Sheffield boys passed. Our son learned the game of hockey from Dr. Bill and we grew to love Glenn and Bill as friends. A great loss for Glenn and family and their extended family, the Kellers in Asheville, NC. Bill......hit'm straight

Jamie, Your Dad will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I always looked forward to seeing Bill at Algonquin and on occasion playing golf with him. You, as I, know how memorable it is to have played a lifetime of golf with our fathers.

To the Sheffield Family:
I worked with Dr. Sheffield for 20 years (At Alexian Brothers, St. Joe and St,
Clare. He was truly a fabulous boss and friend. We all miss him terribly and will keep your family in our prayers, along with Dr. Sheffield. I will think of him each day as I go to and from work.
