Not sure what to say?

Dearest Shelton Family,
Bill was one of my very very best friends at Bluestone. He was an academic superstar, an excellent athlete in every sport, and a quiet and modest friend to everyone. He never had a mean word to say about anyone, never complained, and was always there if you needed help with anything. That he went on to be a doctor like his dad didn't surprise any of us, since he had that gift for giving and listening. I will miss him terribly, and will pray for his family and...

Bill and I were classmates at Bluestone. Though I left the area, I heard of his good work as a doctor, and I was proud of how he came back to serve the folks of Mecklenburg. Reading the comments from those close to him, I could so easily imagine his kindness and care to so many patients over the years. I pray that God will bless you in your grief. May Bill's life inspire the rest of us to serve others.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Shelton as a pharmaceutical rep. I greatly enjoyed his sense of humor and wit. It was when he would grin that I knew I’d provided something of value to one of his patients. I will miss that grin.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Know that he was loved and respected by all those he touched.
Sincerely,
JoAnn Gordon

Earl and I send our sincerest condolences to the family.

I am so deeply saddened by your loss and know that I am praying for all of you as well as Dr Shelton's staff. It is with much regret that I couldn't attend the services, but I only found out today of the tragic event. I am a pharmaceutical rep with Lilly that has called on Dr Shelton for almost 9 years. He was always so gracious and welcoming to me. I will truly miss him. He was one of the good ones. May God's peace be with you during this most difficult time.

Shelton Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that the Lord will give you strength and comfort you during these most difficult of times.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Your VA East Fishers of Men Family

Dr. and Mrs. Shelton, Beverly, John, and Richard-

I am writing this as we will not be able to attend the service on Friday. There have been so many good memories shared of Billy in many conversations in our family. I will always think of Billy as someone who had a rare gift of being able to succeed at what ever he took on. Academics, athletics, and medicine just to name a few.
Many wonderful memories of "The Chief." I feel sure he and Daddy are having some laughs right now.

To all the Shelton families. Want you to know we are thinking of you at this time.
