Bill was not only a caring neighbor, but he was also a wonderful friend. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He was our neighborhood "watchdog", always looking out for us and inquiring when people were working around our homes. He was also a fantastic historian, which I particularly loved, and happily shared stories about the people who had formerly lived in our homes and about the past happenings of our neighborhood.
