I just learned of Bill's passing, and mourn the loss of a San Mateo Park legend. My favorite memory of Bill is an amazing conversation about Pennoyer vs. Neff in Bill's backyard on a beautiful Summer day. I will never forget Bill's smile and kindness. My sincere condolences to Bill's family.

Sherm was a clubmate at Tower Club, a roommate, and a close friend at Princeton in the early 1960's. We pretty much lost touch with each other after graduation in 1964, but my memories of him remain strong. I am so sad to hear of his death, but so happy to remember our fine times together.
