The Members of the Massachusetts State Police offer their deepest sympathies to the family of William F. Shields, former MSP Trooper (1938-1943). Mr. Shields left the MSP in 1943 and went on to a lengendary career with the United States Secret Service.

The MSP is very proud that Tpr. William F. Shields chose to join the MSP and wear the "French and Electric Blue" even if for only a short time.
