Not sure what to say?

Dear Margaret and Lizzie,
I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking about you and your family. Sending much love and prayers.

On behalf of the staff, faculty and students of the US Army War College and Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, where we are honored to serve with Dr. Shue's son-in-law, Dr. Leonard Wong, I extend our deepest sympathies to Dr. Shue's Family. He clearly was a pillar of the York and Central PA community and we are proud to claim him as a US Army Combat Veteran of Vietnam. We grieve with you.

We light a candle in the memory of our dear friend & colleague. You will be
missed more than you can know.

I was quite sad to learn of the Shue family's sudden loss. It was just last month that I enjoyed a convivial dinner with Dr. and Mrs. Shue on Nantucket. That evening he was full of his usual energy, aspirations and indeed life. His love of learning was perhaps only surpassed by his love for his family. I know he will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to here about your grandfather passing. I am sure he is in a better place now. I will be praying for your families through this difficult time.

Dear Liz and family:

I am so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nelda,
What a dreadful time for you and your family.

Deepest sympathy, and thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nelda and Ted, We were so sorry to hear about Bill. It's hard to know exactly what to say but I'll always have a lot of good memories of when our families got together. With our deepest sympathies, Jane (Anderson)and Allan Holland

Sherry and I both offer our heartfelt sympathy and condolences. We were deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Shue's passing. We had a great time visiting with him at Jess and Andrew's wedding. May you always cherish the memories he left you with.
