Not sure what to say?

I worked at the Abstract office and worked with Mr. Shuttleworth on the title report for Meth Wick Manor. What a lovely person. Always remember his hat and pipe. The world has lost a great leader! So sorry for your loss.

I only worked for him for two years in 1968-69 but will always remember his kindness and his fine mind. He left a wonderful legacy.

I'm so sorry to hear this. My prayers are for his family. Mr Shuttleworth hired me to be his secretary in 1968. He was so kind and generous, a brilliant mind. He will be missed by all.

I was employed by The various abstract offices inCedar Rapids. I worked with Bill on various dealings for Coe College and Meth Wick Manor of which I received a bottle of scotch. I so remember him and his unlit pipe as he would walk into the office, always a smile on his face. Such a classy dresser. He was a very gentle and loving person. The world will miss such a wonderful person.

Bill was such a gentleman and excellent lawyer. Friendly and kind.

My late husband, Jack, and I knew and admired Bill, Teddy and Amy over the years, mainly through Coe College, the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra, and the International Writers Program in Iowa City. Bill and Teddy helped make Cedar Rapids a wonderful place to live and raise our family - we were forever grateful! He will be missed!! My deepest sympathies to his lovely wife Teddy, to his daughter Amy, to the rest of his family ~ and to the Cedar Rapids community on our loss. Linda Laugen
