SILVERMAN, William Of Peabody. Entered into rest May 6, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Thelma May (Cohen) Silverman. Devoted father of Jo-Anne Gibely of Boxford, Richard Silverman of Ipswich and Ken Silverman & his wife Leah of NY. Dear father-in-law of the late Len Gibely and Robin Silverman. Loving brother of the late Ethel Damelin and Sonia Weiner. Cherished grandfather of Heather Mathieson & her husband Paul, Ally and Matthew Gibely, Haley Mayers & her husband Theo, Jillian, Carly, Tara and Jasmine Silverman and Great Grandfather of Mason Mathieson. WW II U.S. Army Veteran. Bill, as he was known, attended Northeastern University and was the owner of Silvermans Mens Shop and Bills Boys Wear in Woburn Square, for over 50 years. Services at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, SALEM on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 12 Noon. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Memorial observance at the home of Jo-Anne Gibely on Sunday and Monday evening from 6-8PM.
