Not sure what to say?

It saddens me to find this obit on the internet. 55 years ago this week, Dr. Sirridge told my mother I had juvenile diabetes. He didn't normally take children as patients, but I was one of his wife's girl scouts. He saw me through two pregencies before he retired from private practice. Shortly after that, we moved to Tulsa. Mom used to keep me up on KC happenings until her passing in 2003.
My belated sympathies go out to you, Mrs. Sirridge and to your family.

Dr. Sirridge was the choice of our 1958 Nursing Class graduation from Bethany Hospital School of Nursing. He had been one of the choice doctors to teach us and we appreciated him so much. Later--this past 2 years our daughter in law was cared for by the very caring Dr. Chris to whom we will always be grateful. He, too, exemplified true caring and compassion.

May your family find peace and blessing from the knowledge that Dr. Bill was beloved my many of us. He will be missed.

Dearest Sirridge Family,
I did not know Dr. "Wild Bill" Sirridge, but have gotten to know one of his sons, Dr. Chris. I now understand how he became the wonderful doctor he is. My mother, Dinks Elwell, is one of his current patients and we all dearly love Dr. Chris. I can tell from not even knowing Dr. Bill that he was one of the greatest doctors around and certainly a very good man. Well done, good servant. May the Sirridge family find peace and contentment knowing Dr. Bill is in his...

Dr. Marjorie, Chris, and family--

My thoughts are with you at this time of great loss.

Dear Aunt Marge,
I can say I knew no finer person.
I will miss him.

Dear Dr. Marjorie and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I know heaven is a much livelier place now with Bill there. I hope he has a very large a lecture hall full of young gullible med students to keep him busy! He will always be one of the most important educators I had the privilage to be exposed to.

Dear Marge: Again my husband and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and all your family regarding Bill. I hold fond memories of both of you and the times we were together in the past, especially when Judy took me to London and we all spent time in Cambridge and saw Phamtom of the Opera and had dinner at an Indian restaurant. I won't forget those wonderful times.

Love to a wonderful woman ---

Dr. Marjorie and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Dr. William's passing. He left wonderful and lasting memories for those who knew him as a physician, teacher and friend. He was truly one of a kind and he will be greatly missed.
