I was extremely fortunate to report to him at New England Life and we were friends and neighbors in North Andover were our sons were in cub scouts together. Dear Slater Family, we are so sorry for your loss of such an amazing man. From my earliest memories from the 1990s of Mr. Slater getting the hot tub ready for us or bringing us to a rooftop in Boston for the fireworks, to my most recent memories of him at Ceci´s scholarship awards, he always had a smile.
