William J. Slattery of Lavalette, NJ was a paratrooper assigned to the 513th Parachute Infantry, G-company, of the 17th Airborne Division during World War II.
As such, he was a brave man with great loyalty to our flag and country. We remember and thank him for his service to preserve the freedom that we now enjoy every day.
